For my Character Design class, in a 4 week project, we had to take a celebrity and make a cartoony caricature out of them. I decided to go with Korea's Nation MC Yoo Jaesuk.
In Fall 2012, I took a class called "Pre-Production Principles". In it, I learned how to take a simple idea and expand it into a full fledged story ready to be pitched to a production team. This is my story. All writings and photos were pulled from the blog my teacher ran during the class. All designs, artwork and concepts are by me.

Feeling determined, An-yu prepares herself for battle as she pulls her hairpin out and it extends into a fighting staff. She defeats the entire mafia on her own. She picks up her mother’s hairpin on the ground near the boss. Holding both her hairpin and her mother’s, they form a key that unlocks their family’s gold chest the mafia stole. She turns and discovers her parents are free, drops the chest and runs towards them in a deep embrace. The chest and hairpins fall to the ground, revealing “San Francisco Film Festival” formed in gold.
