Heads&Hands Sketchbook Challenge

For the Fall 2012 semester, I took a class called "Heads and Hands" where all drawings done in that class are portraits & hand drawings. Over the course of the class, our main homework was to fill up a sketchbook with 100 head drawings and 50 hand drawings from life (no photo refs). Red circles = teacher's written comments.

These drawings take roughly 2 - 20 mins long each. (which is why they dont look as amazing as my other digital portraits where i spend 3+ hrs on). Because i had two jobs during the semester, i cheated a bit with a few photo refs due to not being able to attend class workshops that provide models. (oh well~ ^__<)

materials used:
- standard ballpoint pen (papermate?)
- inky pen (Dr Grip gel pen)
- pitt graphite pure 2900 6b pencil
- standard mechanical pencil (hb lead pencil)
